The DLA-NZ7 D-ILA projector is the world first home theater model to feature 8K 60p, 4K 120p inputs. It is equipped with 8K e-shift proprietary technology with 2-direction shift to reproduce 8K quality image from 4K signals. 4K 120p input making the projector ideal for gaming when combined with Low Latency mode. The projector is driven by three 0.69-inch native 4K D-ILA devices, high-quality 17-element, 15-group 65mm glass lensl, and Ultra-High Contrast Optics that contribute to deliver optical brightness of 2,200 lumens and 40,000:1 native contrast ratio. BLU-Escent laser diode light source also contributes to project the high-resolution 8K image with full depth and dimensionality with longevity of up to 20,000 hours. Compatible with the latest HDR10+ content, the projector boasts industry leading HDR performance. 8K, Laser, and HDR are the keywords that describe JVCs 2021 projector models.

2,200lm BLU-Escent Laser Light Engine

JVC’s 3rd gen. laser enables 20,000 hr. long life illumination, higher output, and quieter operation. Increased brightness ensures compatibility with larger screens, improved HDR performance, with greater depth and dimensionality to home theaters.

8K e-shift Delivers Images Quality Beyond 4K

Content is split into an “A” frame & a “B” frame. The “B” frame is shifted diagonally 0.5 pixel. Then, the frames are displayed sequentially at 120Hz. The two frames overlap, resulting in resolution that exceeds 17 million individually addressable pixels

Two 48Gbps HDMI/HDCP 2.3 inputs (8K/60P & 4K/120P)

The world’s first home theater projectors with 8K/60P inputs. This latest connectivity standard offers dual 48Gbps HDMI inputs with HDCP 2.3. In addition, 4K/120P inputs support the newest generation of video and gaming content.

65 mm all-glass lens with 2X Zoom and 80% vertical/ 34% horizontal lens shift

The DLA-NZ7 is equipped with a premium 17 element, 15 group lens, delivering 8K resolution to the screen, while offering wide installation flexibility.

40,000:1 Native Contrast, Infinite Dynamic Contrast

Native Contrast produces 39,998 shades of gray between the darkest black & the brightest white on the same screen at the same time using same projector settings. Dynamic contrast uses different settings to achieve black or white at different times

Frame Adapt HDR Dynamic Tone Mapping w/Theater Optimizer

HDR color grading varies dramatically. Frame Adapt HDR dynamically optimizes HDR10 content’s brightness, color & detail on a frame by frame basis. Theater Optimizer, automatically fine tunes images based on installation & projector settings.
